Sky Blue is proud to be the first to offer our unique concept in Lafayette! We not only offer new fashions from an eclectic mix of contemporary clothing and accessory lines, but we combine it with authentic vintage clothing, jewelry and handbags. Our store
was born from a desire to stand apart, to celebrate creativity and individuality, and to offer fashions that allow you to create and express your own style. At Sky Blue, we believe “Great minds don’t dress alike”!

Two lovely in-house, degreed designers spend their days in the studio dreaming up and creating one-of-a-kind styles. This has produced our highly popular and exclusive Sky Blue Reconstruction clothing line. Vintage clothing that would otherwise be ignored
or under-appreciated is transformed into beautiful, smart, fun and sometimes funky fashions! What you’ll love most about our reconstruction clothing is that you’ll never have to worry about running into someone who is wearing the same outfit as you!

Our customers are as diverse as our fashions. With this in mind, we offer several specialty services including personalized reconstruction, tailoring and custom sewing. Have you ever felt bored with your wardrobe? We also offer Style Remix – our designers
can give you a fresh look from your own closet!

Combining the present with the past is truly a passion for owner Larie Barnett and Manager Candace Meche. Close friends for years, the pair is enjoying this opportunity to share their love for all things vintage. Larie, a Texas native and Candace, a Louisiana
native, are both mothers of three fantastic children. Both are steadfast supporters of their children’s schools and have spent many years dedicated to making a difference in the community. Sky Blue is pleased to serve alongside other area businesses as Partners
in Education to several local schools.
