Catherine Mestayer, an independent decorator for over 15 years, and a former Home Economics teacher opened FABRIQUES-decorative interior fabrics in 2004. The mission of the store is to offer cutomers beautiful fabrics, quality service, and competitive pricing. Located just south of River Ranch across from The Settle ment, FABRIQUES staff is comprised of Catherine, Mary Margaret Saloom, Susan Ducote (a Louisiana registered licensed Interior Designer #304), and Erin Shelton. The FABRIQUES staff are experienced and knowledgeable in all areas of design and fabrication of window treatments, bedding,and upholstery.

The retail store has hundreds of fabrics and decorative trims in stock, as well as hardware, linings, pillow forms, and all supplies needed to complete a design project. In addition, custom orders are available from many fabric lines and can be received in about a week. FABRIQUES textiles and designs have been featured in several of the Acadiana Symphony Showhouse homes.
